When end forming for the aerospace, tank, or HVAC industries, the KAAST ZSH and ZSM series beading machines outshine the competition with consistent, accurate beads which supply strength and connectivity to materials up to 0.15” (4 mm) in thickness.

These workshop and site friendly machines are available with mechanically (ZSM) or hydraulically (ZSH) driven upper rolls and are available in two models, 2.5 or 4.0. The 2.5 model can handle up to 13 Ga material and work at up to 16 rpms. It features a 3.75” roll opening and 6.3” throat. The 4.0 model beads up to 9 Ga material at 12 rpms and offers a 5” roll opening and 7.8” throat.

These beading machines come standard with 4 sets of dies for rolling the most common beads in the fabrication industry. Eight other standard die sets are available as well as custom dies, expanding these machines abilities even further.

The twin foot pedal control pedestal offers easy to use controls and a generous 8’ connection. The heavy machine base is robust, minimizing distorting vibrations while maximizing stability during operations.

  • Motorized roller drive
  • Upper roll feeding – mechanical driven (ZSM)
  • Upper roll feeding – hydraulic driven (ZSH)

Standard configuration

  • Foot pedal
  • Standard rollers
  • Baseframe
  • Reductor
  • Operation manual

Click here to visit our friends at The Fabricator.< The beading machine is a key piece of equipment in many street rod shops, and I’m amazed at the ways clever builders develop new designs of bead-rolled patterns, and their discovery of new processes and tooling. You’ll see a few types of unusual tooling in this article, such as a simple fixture that allows you to roll rings from tubing or sheetmetal shapes. While function drives many of the applications of the beading machine, very often you can incorporate a distinctive design element in the work you do, and a few free-thinking individuals are doing amazing artwork with these versatile machines. /span>key piece of equipment in many street rod shops, and I’m amazed at the ways clever builders develop new designs of bead-rolled patterns, and their discovery of new processes and tooling.
