KAAST offers four versions of our CNC horizontal machining centers, the HMC-F, the H-Mill XT, the HMC-T, and the HMC-TA, each designed for different machining needs.
HMC-F CNC
The HMC-F CNC Horizontal Machining Centers feature a heavy, oversized base that supports the indexing table over its entire travel, with a rigid, fixed spindle driven by a gearbox and a fixed column construction. The HMC-F also boasts linear scales on the X, Y, and Z-axes, a 40-tool ATC, and a FANUC 0i-MF CNC control. This horizontal machining center is built with heavy-duty construction for maximum stability during use.
H-Mill XT
The H-Mill XT is CNC horizontal machining centers with pallet exchanger for two pallets. This heavy duty machine includes chip evacuation via conveyors, spindle oil cooling and automatic lubrication standard.
HMC-T
Whereas, the HMC-T features a moving column design and hardened and ground guideways. It is made of strongly ribbed high-quality Meehanite cast iron for solid support of even the heaviest workpieces. The main spindle has a powerful ZF transmission, and the rotary table offers a resolution of up to 0.001°. Telescopic steel covers protect the bed guideways, and glass scales are included in the X, Y, and Z-axes. The HMC-T also has a 40-piece tool changer and utilizes the FANUC 0i-MF CNC control.
HMC-TA
The HMC-TA horizontal machining centers come with auto-pallet changer is the ideal unit for high speed, high precision machining. Due to its perfect combination of roller type linear ways on three axes and the spindle mounted at the center of the column, maximum stability and precision is achieved. Additionally, the two-step gearbox, together with the high-speed spindle, provides high torque output at a low speed range, meeting high speed machining requirements even at the high end of the speed range. The table load of this machine is 65% more than competitors’ models, and the extra-large travel is 45% larger.
